When we met Jennifer and Matthew we knew that this wedding was going to be a relaxed intimate affair. The CD Weddings team is ready to take on any type of event but our favorite are the relaxed, fun and intimate ones. Jennifer wanted to implement her Puerto Rican roots and love for our Spanish colonial architecture. Our first suggestion was the Old San Juan Cathedral which they fell in love with from the moment they stepped foot in it. We find it to be one of the longest aisles which is dramatic and romantic at the same time. The history that is in the cathedral is charming and beautiful setting of Old San Juan is always a plus for pictures after the ceremony.
La Concha Renaissance was our host hotel for the wedding and also where the guests stayed. It is a perfect spot for fun in the sun, lounging at the pool and partying during the evening since their lobby turns into a great hangout spot with live music and dancing. It is located in the center of Condado and it is about 20 minutes away from Old San Juan. Salon Mirador located on the 12th floor was where we had the reception and the staff is always welcoming and shows that Puerto Rico has great service.
This wedding was absolutely one of our favorites and I hope you enjoy it in the images captured by the talented Saul Padua.
