Beautiful iridescent cobblestone streets, colorful architecture, celeste blue skies, culinary experiences that have no end. These are some of the things we love about Old San Juan. It is the oldest city in the United States where it’s Cathedral named after Saint John the Baptist built in 1521 is the second oldest Roman Catholic cathedral in the Americas and the oldest in United States.
It is very easy to fall in love when walking the streets of Old San Juan. There is never a dull moment and at every turn you find a new restaurant, coffee shop, boutique, simply put a new experience.
Our clients, Trinea & Justin loved this city so much that they got married there and ended up moving-in the heart of Old San Juan. Their experience was beautifully captured by David Medina Photography. Their ceremony took place at the Cathedral and their wedding reception was at Salon Campeche in Hotel El Convento.
If you are ever visiting Puerto Rico, Old San Juan is a must! You will need a full day, comfy shoes & clothes and an empty stomach. It’s also a great idea to schedule some time for some photos in this amazing place. The images below were at San Cristobal Fort also a must visit along with El Morro both iconic and gorgeous fortresses built by the Spaniards.
